Ab 2006 wurde das nationale Berichtswesen im SCAR umgestellt. Die Berichte enthalten in tabellarischer Form die deutschen Vertreter in den jeweiligen SCAR - Gremien. Außerdem werden in knapper Form wichtige Beiträge zu den SCAR - Programmen dargestellt.

Das Sekretariat des La SCAR/IASC erstellte bis 2005 jährlich einen National Report to SCAR. Dieser Bericht stellt in tabellarischer Form die im Berichtsjahr in der Antarktis durchgeführten deutschen Forschungsprojekte dar. Berichtszeitraum ist jeweils 1. Juni bis 31. Mai des Folgejahres.
